Description
Hi,
I am creating a full screen (TUI) application, and I was wondering if there is a way I can test it using pytest. More specifically, there are many keybindings in the application, and I would like to check somehow if the functions that are being called, when one of those keybindings are used, work properly or not.

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by examining the project's existing pytest coverage for full-screen or keybinding behavior; done would require a clearly defined, maintainable way to exercise keybindings and verify the functions they invoke.
