Description
Somewhere between version 3.0.8 and 3.0.16 color parsing started breaking.
It start functioning correctly, but half-way through program execution (maybe RPrompt rendering?) it starts breaking and just printing "?[92m" and such where color should be.

Research direction
Compare color parsing behavior between versions 3.0.8 and 3.0.16, focusing on the point where output changes during execution and the suspected RPrompt rendering path. Reproduce the issue with color values such as [92m and trace when they begin appearing literally. Done means colors continue rendering correctly instead of being printed as escape-code text.
