Research direction
Start by locating the default Node.js metrics collector and its existing heap-related metrics, then review the linked Node.js V8 heap statistics API for heap_size_limit. Done means the default metrics expose a gauge for the heap limit and the related metric behavior is covered by the project's existing checks.
