invalid_chunk when running test suite

I've been attempting to run the test suite on Fedora Rawhide and it seems to fail to cover compile:

Reproduce the failure with the reported rebar eunit skip_deps=true -vv command on the listed Erlang and rebar versions. Start with the cover compilation of .eunit/fxml_gen.beam and its invalid_chunk/Abst error; done means the test suite completes without this failure.
