Description

Increasing Access

Users:

  • Helps for bug reports -- reporters can mention the version

Maintainers:

  • Easier to validate bug reports by checking live versions of the site vs. what the user is reporting (prevents potential issues due to version drift)
  • Can check if deployments to staging & production worked without needing access to kubernetes clusters, which seems hard to get at the moment
Feature request details

Display the current release tag of the editor somewhere in the editor UI

We currently display the p5.js version in the header, so potentially beside that?
Or within the settings modal? Or within the "Help" dropdown? Open to discussion here
