Description

Create a simple web page using Clojure and the hiccup library

  • Create a deps.edn project using the app template
  • include hiccup as a dependency
  • add hiccup to the namespace
  • evaluate example hiccup code to understand the syntax
  • write a function called home-page to generate a simple page (hint: html5/page function from hiccup)
  • call the home-page function from the -main function, test in the repl
  • run the project from the command line

Research direction

Start by creating the deps.edn project from the app template, then read the hiccup examples and add hiccup to the namespace. Implement home-page using hiccup's html5/page function, call it from -main, and verify the result in the REPL and by running the project from the command line.
