Description

Summary

Allow customers (especially HLS/pharma) to customize which tests run and how results are formatted, so VIP output can serve as IQ/OQ (Installation Qualification / Operational Qualification) evidence for regulatory compliance.

Context

Feedback from Solutions Engineering presentation (2026-04-07). HLS customers need to plug VIP into their qualification workflows. This requires both test selection (run only the tests relevant to their validation protocol) and report customization (output that meets regulatory documentation standards).

Scope

  • Test selection: allow customers to define a subset of tests to run via config
  • Report customization: support output formats or templates suitable for compliance audits
  • Consider a "qualification profile" concept that bundles test selection + report format

Vertical interest

  • HLS (Health & Life Sciences) — primary driver

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named, so begin by locating the existing test-selection configuration and reporting paths. Done means customers can select a test subset and produce a configurable IQ/OQ-suitable report, with the qualification-profile concept resolved.
