Description

Starlette routes provides one way to have multi-page apps. Another way would be to have a true SPA but have the developer experience of a multi-page app (including the URL updating as you navigate between "pages"). (Maybe each sub-app would need to be implemented as a Shiny module)

Research direction

Start by reviewing the existing Starlette routes approach and how Shiny modules are used for sub-apps. Define how a true SPA should preserve the multi-page developer experience, including URL updates during navigation. Done means the intended navigation model and implementation scope are agreed and documented.
