Description

Hello,

I've noticed that a text input box reacts as soon as you type a character - is there a way to delay the reaction until the user presses the return key? If not, this might be a useful feature to add.

Thanks,

Robert

Research direction

The issue concerns text input behavior in Shiny for Python but names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the text input event handling, then determine how a return-key submission could be distinguished from per-character updates; done means the reaction waits until the user presses return and existing input behavior remains intact.
