Describe the issue:
I wish the “restart to update” was a little bit more prominent. I just leave positron run, so it took me a while to figure out why I wasn’t get the dailies, despite updating my settings
Currently, the Check for Updates and Update available are in the Gear icon at the bottom left of the IDE, and an available update shows up as a red indicator there. This is easy to miss compared to a toast or other UI treatment for when updates are available.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
Wait for a daily or stable release to be available.
Expected or desired behavior:
I think we should have a toast when an update is made available, and also allow for that toast to be disabled (ignore this update) in favor of just the indicator in the gear until the next release.
Were there any error messages in the UI, Output panel, or Developer Tools console?
