Description
Rather than smushing both recent files and recent workspaces into the same Open Recent dropdown, I feel like we should have two separate options here, one for files and one for workspaces.
I typically am trying to open a recent file when I use this, and having the workspaces show up first (or at all) generally just confuses me

Research direction
The issue names only the Open Recent dropdown and does not identify files or tests. Locate the UI entry point that builds this menu, then inspect how recent files and workspaces are currently combined. Done means the menu offers separate Open Recent File and Open Recent Workspace options; verify both options in the UI.
