Description
I think it would be nice to have the possibility to navigate easily between projects like offered with Project Manager extension. As project manager does, this could be achieved by specifying folders where a version control systems are in used.
Note that this extension allows users to save folders as projects and add them different tags, even thought this is a nice feature I don't think it should be offered by default with Positron due to that the path of the projects are specified and if user changes a projects path without updating the configuration json the feature effectiveness get affected.
But Positron could dynamically detect folders with version control systems and allow user to easily navigate between these projects.

Start by reviewing the existing File Explorer navigation and the referenced Project Manager extension. Define how folders containing version-control systems should be discovered and how users should switch between projects; done means the behavior is agreed, implemented, and covered by appropriate tests.
