Description
It would be very cool to support user-extensible customer project templates. For inspiration, something like Cookie Cutter Data Science: https://cookiecutter-data-science.drivendata.org/
Ideally this would also allow users to define:
- Folder structure
- Specific files
- Specific content within a file
So that they could create new projects from a defined set of templates.
Edit in 2026:
Customer-defined Positron Folder Templates could also include skills and memory, and thus might be a nice workflow for pit of success in project structure/approach from a static and generated code approach.
We've had several customers ask about how to roll out specific skills to appropriate project types or at project-level rather than only globally or at a user-level.
