Description

  1. Update the list of tags for each piece of content. Currently, only 8 of them have tags, which are all framework/tech labels: python, r, quarto, shiny, fastapi, mcp, llm, chat. This requires getting aligned on what the list of possible tags is -- we could add more around capabilities (oauth, governance, database) or even “new” to highlight newer content -- before applying tags across the repo.
  2. Make the tags more “visible” to a user: make the tags visible on the cards themselves, add a tag filter at the top of the Galery page similar to the language filter (we actually have some of this logic written out, but it’s incomplete), or do both of these.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the existing Gallery tag-filter logic and the current content tag list. Confirm the agreed tag vocabulary before applying tags across the repository, then verify that tags are visible on cards and/or filterable from the Gallery page.
