Description

In the current solution any referenced content type has to be either available out of the box or be defined in the template. It would be an improvement if content types available in the content type hub could be referenced.

Research direction

The issue concerns referenced content types and content types published from the content type hub, but names no files, tests, or entry points. Begin by locating the provisioning logic that resolves referenced content types. Done means content types available in the hub can be referenced without being built in or defined in the template.
