Description
Dash Enterprise client is trying to create a scatter plot with px.Scattergl with a slider and is experiencing a strange behavior where the box select in conjunction with the slider renders lines across the cell for the visualization. This behavior does not take place when using px.Scatter. The preference is to use Scattergl because of the amount of data with which they will be working.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the reported behavior with px.Scattergl, a slider, and box select, then compare it with px.Scatter using the attached recording as the reference. Investigate the lines rendered across the visualization cell and consider the issue complete when Scattergl no longer shows them during slider interaction.
