Description
Working with 3D scatter plots, I discovered that changing the marker line width attribute doesn't seem to do anything. It always is sticking with the default value of one pixel when being rendered.
The only other reference to this bug that I could find is this.
This bug is easily reproduced with this jsfiddle:
https://jsfiddle.net/dolsen1993/oczLs7qj/

Research direction
Start with the linked jsfiddle reproduction and compare 3D scatter marker line-width rendering on affected hardware. Trace the JavaScript 3D scatter rendering path to determine why the value remains at the one-pixel default; done means the configured marker line width is visibly applied rather than only affecting the legend.
