Description
Warning in geom2trace.default(dots[[1L]][[1L]], dots[[2L]][[1L]], dots[[3L]][[1L]]) :
geom_GeomInteractiveSegment() has yet to be implemented in plotly.
If you'd like to see this geom implemented,
Please open an issue with your example code at

I am using plotly v4.12.0 and it is causing the branches of a phylogeny to disappear in an R Shiny app. This was not an issue in previous plotly versions. Can you please consider implementing this geom?

Research direction
Start by tracing the geom2trace.default warning for geom_GeomInteractiveSegment() in plotly.R and reproduce it with a phylogeny in an R Shiny app. Determine how this geom is converted for plotly v4.12.0; done means the warning is gone and the phylogeny branches render instead of disappearing.
