Issue with hoversubplots Argument in Plotly R layout()

Although the documentation for Plotly in R mentions the hoversubplots argument (see Plotly R Documentation), I encountered the following warning when attempting to use it in my plots:

Start with the Plotly R layout() behavior and compare it with the linked hoversubplots reference documentation. Determine whether the argument should be supported or removed from the documentation; the warning should no longer conflict with the documented behavior when the issue is resolved.
