Description
The plotly version being used by ropensci is something like 13 months old. There have been fixes made in that time period that are relevant to our use cases - it's entirely possible there's a good reason why the version has been fixed to an older one, and if this is the case, please let me know :) otherwise, this issue is to update the version to latest (for our purposes, we'd need the latest minor, ie 1.58).
