Description

We have to find a way to deal with Expired items for building folder_contents-like views.

The current behavior is not to include them at all in default GET to folderish objects, nor in the @search endpoint:

@search?sort_order=getObjPositionInParent&path.depth=1

Any ideas on how to deal with that? @ebrehault @buchi @lukasgraf @tisto

Research direction

Start by reproducing the default GET response for folderish objects and the @search request with sort_order=getObjPositionInParent and path.depth=1. The issue does not define whether expired items should be included or how they should appear, so clarify the expected behavior before identifying implementation files and tests.
