Description

Currently there is no well documented way to recreate LIF (Language Independent Folder) for existing Language LRFs without breaking existing content or turn the heavy screws in ZMI to overcome content object creation limits in a default cookieplone setup (or drive this via script or API).

This is a marker to elaborate on that topic after the misleading description of the Language Independent Folder (LIF) was fixed in this closed ticket https://github.com/plone/documentation/issues/2018

  • I have to come back on this based on my own notes on fixing that (too complicated for a general solution)
  • or someone can provide an easy way.

Target group are integrators and site administrators without deeper knowledge of the implications behind in the deeper ZMI that is not reachable from Volto or Classic Settings.
