Description

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Is there any reason why the afterRequest method was implemented just for requests and not for jobs?

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to launch jobs once the current jobs is finished, to make sure the transaction is commited before the next jobs start.

Research direction

Start by locating the existing afterRequest implementation and the job lifecycle entry points, then trace when the current job's transaction is committed. Compare the requested afterInvocation behavior with afterRequest and verify how a follow-up job would be launched. Done means the new hook works for jobs and sequencing is covered by appropriate tests.
