Description
- Generate mipmaps for RGBM textures manually, as for HDR, not just downsampling separate channels.
- Normalize normal maps that came from lossy formats (JPG) before generating mips - will remove many artifacts.

Research direction
Start by locating the texture mipmap generation path in the engine and identify how RGBM and normal-map textures are represented. Verify the existing HDR mipmap behavior and the handling of JPG-loaded normal maps. Done means RGBM textures are preprocessed before mip generation and lossy normal maps are normalized before their mipmaps are created.
