Description
It's useful to know if the mouse has entered or left the canvas/window. In particular it's a problem if the mouseup occurs while the cursor is out of the window.
Support for mouseenter and mouseleave let you cancel clicks if you leave the window.

Research direction
Start by locating the input event handling for the canvas and window, then review how existing mouse events are registered and how mouseup is handled when the cursor leaves the window. Done means mouseenter and mouseleave are supported and clicks can be cancelled when the pointer leaves before mouseup.
