Description

Research direction
The issue names geometry, collision components, and existing meshes, but no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the collision component and geometry APIs, then determine how generated geometry and mesh-derived geometry should be accepted. Done means both requested geometry input paths produce usable collision shapes, with coverage for each path.
