Description

Research direction

Start by reading the EXT_texture_norm16 documentation and locating how the engine handles existing WebGL extensions and texture formats. Confirm the supported 16-bit fixed-point format behavior in Chromium and define done as engine support for this extension with appropriate coverage of the new format.
