Description

Before submitting
  • I searched existing issues and did not find a duplicate.
  • I included enough detail to reproduce or investigate the problem.
Area

apps/desktop

Steps to reproduce

I have no idea how this has happened. I was just using the application and I wanted to open a.md file and then the app crashed and gave me this screenshot and gave me this error message that I've shown in the image. If I check the diagnostic panel or if I check the logs, I am unable to find any of the relevant information. So I'm really sorry I cannot help this with much behavior over here, but this is all I have right now

Expected behavior

It should have opened the MD file and not break the app

Actual behavior

The actual behavior, what's supposed to happen is that it break the application and I have to restart the application to in order to view or resume my work

Impact

Blocks work completely

Research direction

Start in apps/desktop by reproducing the crash when opening an .md file on the reported version and macOS environment. Inspect the attached screenshot and diagnostic or application logs, then verify that the file opens without crashing and that relevant failure information is available if the issue persists.
