Description
Before submitting
- I searched existing issues and did not find a duplicate.
- I included enough detail to reproduce or investigate the problem.
Area
apps/desktop
Steps to reproduce
- Start a thread inside any repo with some files.
- Press Ctrl-P to open the file picker, and pick any file.
- The sidebar on the right will open. The file is visible and next to it is a navigator pane that is, on a mac air m4, a bit too wide.
- Try to resize the navigator pane only. The resize handle is missing.
Expected behavior
You can resize the navigation pane's width by clicking and dragging.
Actual behavior
Cannot resize.

Research direction
Start in apps/desktop by reproducing the Ctrl-P file-picker flow with a repository containing files, then inspect the sidebar and file navigator pane for the resize interaction. Done means the navigator pane can be resized by clicking and dragging without preventing normal file viewing or navigation.
