Description

Enhancement

at present, tiflash cannot decode continous selection operators, which may generated from tidb planner. once it occurs, tiflash return errors. To avoid this, tiflash should support decoding continous selections.

Research direction

Start by reading the related TiCS issue 1731 and the query-block refactoring work mentioned here. Trace how TiFlash decodes selection operators, especially consecutive selections generated by the TiDB planner. Done means continuous selections decode successfully instead of returning errors.
