Description
As far as I understand, Google's Caldav rejects VTODO files, because it deems them unfit for a Calendar application (and considers a piece of the Tasks application).
Would synchronization with dedicated tasks (as opposed to calendar) services be considered?

Research direction
Start by reviewing the project's CalDAV and VTODO synchronization entry points, then compare the issue's Google Calendar behavior with the proposed dedicated Tasks-service scope. Done would require a decided integration target and design for synchronizing tasks rather than only a narrowly specified edit.
