Description
I believe it's time for a release 1.0.
Khal is nearly ten years old (first public commit is from 2013-08-06) and the API seems to be mostly stable (perhaps mostly because development has slowed down, but doesn't really matter).

Research direction
Start by reading the issue discussion and reviewing Khal's current release state and API stability. Done would require agreement on whether a 1.0 release is appropriate and a clearly defined release plan; no files, tests, or entry points are named.
