I will recommend to supply [in debian/ubuntu package?] & note in documentation about available AppArmor profile that can be applied by using mod_apparmor

while other MAC solutions exists (SELinux/Smack/TOMOYO/Yama/grsecurity) AppArmor is probably the most easy one to deploy/support/etc , also Ubuntu enable it by default.
