Description

Version 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 are published in PECL but there is no tag here

Also can you please use standard version scheme for tag (1.2.4 or v1.2.4) without krb5- prefix

Context: I'm working on downstream packaging, and moving away from PECL, so using sources from github which rely on tag.

Also nice to add a composer.json an publish this extension on packagist, see https://github.com/php/pie/blob/1.4.x/docs/extension-maintainers.md

Research direction

Start by inspecting the repository's existing release and tag conventions, then read docs/extension-maintainers.md from the linked PHP PIE documentation for packaging expectations. Done means the published 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 sources have standard version tags and the extension has the requested Composer metadata for downstream or Packagist use.
