  1. Add 9000 characters to "Custom search engines"
  2. Click on "Save"
  3. Note that "Saved" does NOT appear.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with about 9,000 characters in the "Custom search engines" text box and clicking "Save". Trace the save path responsible for the quota error, then verify that the text can be saved and that the button changes to "Saved" without the uncaught promise error.
