Description

Details

When on chatgpts website, and attempting to scroll through its query, there are 2 issues. First you cannot use the f key to select the gpt output, to enable scrolling, so one must manually select it. Second, scrolling up with k and u only scroll up like a few pixels its barely noticeable, and scrolling down with j or d don't do anything at all. This wasn't always the case, it used to work fine on both brave and firefox. idk if gpt or brave updated something? maybe its browser exclusive?

Steps to reproduce:
  • Just open up a chatgpt query in brave browser attempt to scroll the query.
Browser and Vimium Versions:
  • Brave browser
  • Brave 1.76.82 Chromium: 134.0.6998.178 (Official Build) (64-bit)
  • Revision 4945fe87e209cb2e9d6a37ff68d2c805f9c2bf9e
  • OS Linux
  • JavaScript V8 13.4.114.21
  • Vimium version: 2.2.1

Research direction

No files or tests are named. Start by reproducing the scrolling and link-selection behavior on a ChatGPT query in Brave 1.76.82 with Vimium 2.2.1, then compare with Firefox if useful. Done means f selects the GPT output and the j, k, d, and u keys scroll it normally.
