Using gE & editing the current url in the vomnibar is a lot slower to load a website than navigating directly to that site would be
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to https://old.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/
- Use
gEto open a new tab of reddit with https://old.reddit.com/r/dota2/ - Observe that this takes a very long time to load
- In another tab, navigate directly to https://old.reddit.com/r/dota2/
- Observe that this loads significantly faster
