Description

I would really like the ability to not have to press Fn+F8 on my specific keyboard to play or pause videos. The space key is how I am used to playing and pausing videos but space activates the currently selected control and if you do anything on any video player (like full screening or muting) then space will just activate that again and not the play/pause button. Having the ability to map other things like mute or next / previous would also be handy.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named in the issue. Start by locating Vimium’s keyboard-mapping entry point and existing handling for media keys, then clarify the supported mappings and browser limitations before defining what a complete implementation and test would require.
