Describe the bug
Tested on this page https://www.lemonde.fr/, LinkHints.activateModeWithQueue behaviour is not "reliable".
Experienced opening four links from the frontmost tab in four new tabs, then the fifth link opens in the current tab.
To Reproduce
Fire the LinkHints.activateModeWithQueue command to open a link from one of the article in the blue banner.

The link should open in the current tab.
Had no problem with links not from the blue banner.

Research direction
Start by reproducing LinkHints.activateModeWithQueue on the linked Le Monde page, especially links in the blue banner, using the reported Brave and Vimium versions. Compare how the first five links are opened with links outside the banner; done means each queued link opens in the expected tab, including the fifth link in the current tab.
