Description

with Safari Web Extensions API we should be able to support Safari using the same codebase.

This would be very great since current alternatives on Safari doesn't have feature parity with Vimium.

Research direction

The issue names no files or tests; start with Safari's Web Extensions API documentation and the linked WWDC 2020 session, then compare the existing JavaScript extension structure with Safari's supported APIs. Done is not fully specified: it would require an agreed Safari-on-macOS Big Sur scope and demonstrable feature parity with Vimium.
