Description

Scrolling on some websites (like twitter) via vimium is janky. On others, it gives as natural a scroll as the mouse.

I'm not sure why twitter behaves well with mouse but not with vimium. I think other extensions which attempt to programtically scroll may face similar issues, and it might be worth looking into what they do to deal with it.

Is anything done for smooth-scrolling within vimium?

Research direction

Start by reproducing the janky scrolling in Vimium on Twitter and comparing it with mouse scrolling. Review how Vimium performs programmatic scrolling and investigate how other extensions handle similar cases. Done means scrolling is consistently smooth on affected websites without regressing sites where Vimium already scrolls naturally.
