Description

macOS has an option to switch your input source automatically depending on the window. So, for example if I have a chat in Spanish, and Chrome in US english it will switch the keyboard layout automatically as you change windows.

But when Vimium is active in Chrome, it breaks this behaviour and uses the input source from the last focused window so you have to change it back every time.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue in Chrome on macOS with automatic input source switching enabled, changing between windows that use different keyboard layouts while Vimium is active. Trace which Vimium input or focus behavior causes the last window's input source to persist; done means macOS switches input sources correctly when changing windows with Vimium enabled.
