Description

First of all, this is an amazing add on. However, I find the omnibar distracting as when I start searching it shows all my history and blocks the whole page. I wish there was a preference to let the omnibar just open a website without giving me suggestions based on my history. In firefox there is such a preference in about:config Thanks!

Research direction

Start by locating the omnibar implementation and inspect how history suggestions are assembled. Compare the requested behavior with Firefox's about:config preference, then define what the disabled-suggestions mode should do and verify both enabled and disabled behavior. Done means users can open a preference that prevents history-based suggestions from appearing.
