Feature request; Keep previous search query active

Description
When i run a search, and then exit it, and then run it one more time, i need to type search query one more time, is it possible to keep previous search query in some memory field?
BTW. I can do it by myself, just wan't to know is it actual to someone else? Or does nobody already working on this?
