Description
CodeMirror provides a Vim-mode. However, if Vimium is installed, I cannot come back to normal mode once I enter insert mode in the codemirror editing box.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue in Firefox using the CodeMirror Vim-mode demo linked in the report, with Vimium installed. Start by comparing behavior when entering and leaving insert mode, then trace the relevant keyboard handling entry point in the extension. Done means normal mode can be restored in the CodeMirror editor while Vimium remains enabled.
