Description

Say there is a page I visit often and I already know there is a link further down with the text "text". I should be able to press f and then text<enter> to follow it using filtered links and I shouldn't need to scroll down the page until it is visible.

Research direction

The issue does not name a file or test. Start by locating the link-hint handling for f and filtered-link input, then reproduce the case with a link further down the page; done means entering text after f can select that link without scrolling it into view.
