Description
Most of the code snippets would go with <pre> tags, and most of those contents will overflow. Currently link hint will not get those fields, which means scrolling could only happen when mouse hovers or clicks on it. If we could make a click on those fields, then scroll could work smoothly.
Please advise if there is a way to achieve this, thanks! (added a pr for simple solution #2094)

Research direction
Review the proposed simple solution in pull request #2094 and the existing link-hint handling for overflowing
contents. Done means clicking these fields enables smooth scrolling without relying only on hover or clicking elsewhere.
