Description
In https://github.com/phetsims/wave-interference/issues/80#issuecomment-495464104, it says:
However, it would be GREAT if there was a speaker option for the sound wave generator so they could HEAR the difference between constructive and destructive interference patterns. I've seen this tool in other sims you have created.
As far as I understand, we do not plan to implement this feature. And it would be unclear how to implement it given our emergent (rather than explicit) lattice model. But I wanted to raise it for discussion. @arouinfar do you think we should close this issue? Or raise for discussion at next sonification meeting? I forget if we already decided it.

Research direction
Start with the linked issue 80 comment and the outstanding question about a sonification meeting, since no files, tests, or implementation entry points are named. Confirm whether the feature is wanted and how constructive versus destructive interference should be heard; the issue provides no acceptance criteria for determining when it is done.
