Problem description:
For https://github.com/phetsims/QA/issues/264 likely minor
When a wave ends there is a clear line between the end of the wave and the default 0 state.
Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to the Waves screen and select water (easiest to see in multiple ways)
  2. Select pulse and wend a single wave. Note appearance at end of wave (will also occur when ending continuous)
  3. Switch to side view and repeat

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue on the Waves screen with water in pulse mode, including both normal and side views, using the linked screenshots as the visual reference. Trace the wave behavior when a single or continuous wave ends; done means the transition to the default zero state no longer shows a clear line.
