Description
Sometimes the floating style just works better for me when I want to have multiple windows visible at the same time, but at a reasonable size for each of them, where they don't get too small by quarter tiling or something similar. Working with them on the same space where tiling windows are gets messy, so I manually move them into another virtual desktop.
Having this be a toggle on the desktop (like we have for the "Tile on current screen" shorcut) or a setting that permanently sets the WM style would be really nice to have.

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the existing “Tile on current screen” shortcut and the code handling virtual desktops and WM style selection. Done means a toggle or persistent setting can select floating behavior per virtual desktop without disrupting tiled desktops.
